Diet Tips – A Weight Loss Transformation Story

Weight loss isn’t just about calories in vs. calories out. It’s not just about eating healthy and working out. It’s a mind game. We are a culture of diet obsessed, fearful, self-conscious, self-deprecating people. Why??? Because we listen to, read, and watch too much nonsense about how we are supposed to look, what we are supposed to eat, how much we are supposed to exercise, etc. If we aren’t eating less and exercising more, killing ourselves to look “amazing”, we are made to feel inferior. My advice would be to find an approach that truly works for you. Don’t blindly take any advice from a professional, simply b/c they hold themselves high as an expert. If it does’t feel right, question it. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. There are tons of misinformation and bias out there. Discover your own inner wisdom and find what resonates with you. My approach may not work for you but may I encourage anyone who might read this to honestly love yourself and don’t postpone your life’s activities until the scale reads the magic number you’ve been longing for. I worked hard to get here, but the destination is so worth the journey. I am so very grateful for each of you, for the continuous love and endless support. With each of you, I’m struggling, sacrificing, but also celebrating and enjoying life’s precious gifts. CHEERS to feeling beautiful from the inside out.
